To Shift Your Perspective

The Technique:

There are three positions…
For example, if you are at a cafe
with a friend:

Position One is you drinking your latte, talking with your friend.

Position Two is your friend talking with you.
In this position, you see yourself through your friend’s eyes.

Position Three is a camera recording you and your friend at the cafe. In this position you see yourself, your friend, the cafe around you, from a neutral perspective.

Practice moving through these
three positions throughout the day.

This increases your sensitivity
and expands your awareness.

Especially if there is an obstacle or
a conflict, move it through these positions
to find your next best move.
